Oral health is crucial to overall long-term health and well-being, but many Arizona families struggle to afford regular dental care for their children. Recognizing the need for programs that address long-term oral health outcomes for our youth, AzDA Cares is launching our Tooth Fairy Adopt-a-Child program in 2025. Through this program, AzDA Cares will collaborate with dental professionals across the state to provide free care to youth in need. We will collaborate with Title I schools and school nurses to identify youth in need of care and match them with dental professionals in their area.
In 2025, we aim to match 250 underserved youth with dentists with whom they can develop lasting relationships. By connecting young people to long-term care, AzDA Cares will help bridge the gap between underserved Arizonans and regular dental care, improving the overall health of our youth and our communities.
